When we moved from Utah, Shawn and I both decided that we were not taking the crib that the other 3 kids used. At the end of it's use by Paige, the side rail started to not work and we decided that it probably wasn't safe to use for Carter. We could have replaced the few parts that were broken, but we didn't want a drop side crib any more. We hunted and hunted before we came across this nice crib and it was on sale. Shawn set up shop in the living room and went to work at putting it together.
We had to move it into the boys bedroom before we put the front rail on it as it wouldn't fit through the door once it was on. We then, very quietly, finished putting the crib together in the boys' room while they were asleep.
We took these pictures a few days later.
Oh my! Just couldn't help taking a picture of Paige holding her cheeks while sleeping.
