In the afternoon of the 4th we got together with the Rose family at Pioneer Park in Tangent for a dutch oven picnic and some fun at the park. Their baby is a day younger than Carter. It is fun to watch the two of them together. The Rose's have 4 children, all about the same ages of our kids. It makes for some fun times when we get together.
We did some pop its, and some snakes. Sterling and Porter made a smoke bomb out of an egg and tested it out. There were some things they decided they would do differently, but they kids all got a kick out of it.
That night after it got dark we got out the sparklers and the other few fireworks we had and had some fun playing. The kids always like the sparklers and are always excited to see that they can do with them.
