We are surly enjoying our visit to Jackson Hole, WY. Sunday was the only day we are here and Shawn is not in meetings so we decided to drive around and see some of the beautiful sites. Downtown Jackson is a little tourist town with lots of shops, restaurants and hotels. There is a park at the center of town that has 4 corner entrances into the park. Each corner has a arch of Elk antlers. It was really neat to see.
As we left town heading north, there is a wild life lookout and right on the fence line was a moose. It was so fun to be up close and near a moose. He was smaller than I thought a moose would be, but he may also be a young moose.
Headed north we went to the Gros Ventry and drove down that road a but past the camping grounds. We saw another moose in the distance, on the other side of the very swollen Snake River, hanging out in the trees. There was another moose in the area, but we couldn't get a good look at it.
We then turned on Mormon Row. This is the first Mormon settlement in this area and the original homesteads, barns and fences are still up. It's down a dirt road that has lots of bumps and pot holes. It made for a bumpy, muddy drive, but was worth it.
When we got back to Teton Village we took a gondola up the mountain and got a beautiful view of the valley and surrounding mountains. There is still a lot of snow on the top of the mountains here.

Awe, Stillman and I need to take a little trip together. Yeah both those moose are young-ins. When they still have the fur on their antlers they are young. The people who owned our house could have made one of those arches with how many antlers they had in the garage and closets. Maybe that was his goal. Your bathroom looks awesome!
