She's 2

For a while now it's seemed like she already 2. She is right on track for being a normal 2 year old. I can't believe that 2 very short years ago, she looks so little and precious. How the time flies.
Paige is such a funny girl. She likes to do everything herself, unless she has asked for help. She is very full on energy and ready to go all the time, unless it's nap time.
She had rice crispys for breakfast, a first. She liked the noise that they made in the milk and ate them up pretty quick. She also had a banana, something I don't think she can live with out. She loves banana's now. When Emma and Mason woke up, Mason walked right over to Paige and without and promptings or reminders he said "Happy Birthday Paige!". He's been waiting for Paige's birthday.
We got all dolled up and met my mission friend Nickie at BYU and had Paige's 2 year old pictures taken. I am anxious to get the pictures. After that, we went to Wendys and got chicken nuggets, headed home to get Emma to school and waiting for daddy and Lucky to come home for lunch. Shawn took Paige to choose her Ice Cream to go with her cake. When they got home, we put Paige down for her nap and I worked on her Birthday cake for the next 3 interrupted hours. It is cute, but you'll have to wait for the next post to see it.
Grandma and Grandpa Sanders came down to be with us this weekend and they got here right after Paige woke up from her nap. The kids were all so excited to see them. When the cake was done, frosting put away and most the mess was cleaned up, we took off to pick Shawn up from work and took Paige to Golden Corral for dinner. She always love the buffets as she gets to choose what she wants from such a variety. All our kids are like that. Emma even made the comment that it was the coolest restaurant she's been to.
After dinner, Emma and Mason gave Paige her birthday present from them. We went to Build a Bear and Paige made herself a cute Monkey.
Monkey got stuffed with help from Paige as she pushed the peddle for the fluff for its insides.

Then she squeezed it to see if it was just right. She already loves Monkey.

When she gave her okay, she got Monkey's heart and placed it inside her monkey. This was so cute to watch.

She got a sticker that said it was her b-day. She crouched down for me to take her picture. What a cutie.

So So So happy to have an almost matching sweater for Monkey. Monkey also has a skirt, but she didn't get it on for this picture.
It was so fun to do this with Paige. Emma was with Paige every step of the way, and then told Paige and Mason she wanted a horse for her birthday. I don't think she's good at hints. She just tells it like it is.
When we were done, Mason and Paige headed to the dinosaur park hand in hand. They are so cute together.

Happy Birthday our little Monkey Paige. We love you. We are all so happy you are part of our family. Thanks for sharing your day with us.
