Animal Health Center

Since buying Animal Health Center, I've been meaning to take pictures and post them here. If nothing else for family history, in case Shawn decides he wants to change some things...hopefully not. It was dark out when I took pictures. I will have to get a picture of the clinic from outside during daylight hours sometime soon.

When you walk in the door and look to your right, you will see the reception desk, refrigerated products, the dog scale and the door to the boarding kennels.
To your left is the waiting room, the exam rooms and the pet food product room.
Straight in from of you is the door to go to the treatment area.  The door on the left is the bathroom.
Through the treatment area door you look to your left and you find yourself in the pharmacy area. This is where all the prescriptions are filled labeled and entered into the computer. There are doors on the wall that enter into the exam rooms also.
Looking to your right, and not pictured is the staff break room and a few storage rooms.
Walking forward you come to the treatment area.  The rooms on the far wall have treatment kennels and the x-ray room.
 The treatment kennels:
Shawn loves his new digital x-ray machine. It takes some really nice images.
To the back of the treatment room is the surgery room. There are 2 surgery tables. Around the corner on the wall where the counter and cupboards are is a door that enters Shawn's office, or our kids' holding ground.
This hallway is on the backside of the treatment room. There is a storage room, a ladies bathroom, another Dr.s' office, a men's bath (with a shower, so Shawn should never come home smelling gross, right?) and the door at the very end of the hall is another door entering Shawn's office.
Shawn's office is huge.  It is usually clean and orderly, but the day I took these, the kids were there and had been for some time.  It looks like a kids playground.
The desk Mason is sitting at is Shawn's. He has a lot of space to work and spread out so he's not working on top of himself.
On the other side of the office is another desk. The staff use this for small or large tasks that Shawn has asked them to do.

There are a few things Shawn would like to change, I would like to make his office (where I spend most my time there) a little warmer and more relaxing, but it's a Vet office. Not too many people come see Shawn and want to relax in his office. If your ever in the area, come in and visit. You're always welcome.
