End of School 2012

June 12 Mason Graduated from Kindergarten. He did so well while they did the presentation to the guests who came to see all the Kindergartners.

 Ms. Lucy gave him his graduation certificate and then he shook the principles hand and gave the certificate to him. He then had the parents come and get them so they didn't get destroyed. 

 The kids turned their tassels and clapped because now they are the 1st graders!

 Dad was able to escape work to attend Graduation. Mason was so happy he was able to be there. 

 Sadly, Mason was really excited about moving on to another teacher. He didn't like Ms. Lucy much, and struggled with her while he was in her class.

 The next day was his last day and we were able to sneak a picture with his morning Bus driver and aide.  They were so good with him and he liked them a lot. 

Later that day Emma was awarded an outstanding achievement award.  Emma is excelling in every area in 1st grade.  Dad was able to get away from work to attend her award ceremony also. After the ceremony she was off to her class to finish up her day. 

Emma's last day was June 14 and it was a half day. She said that after all the students were on the bus, the bell on the school rang and all the teachers, who were lined up in the parking lot, waved to the kids as the buses rolled away.  She said she started crying because he was going to miss school and miss all her friends. We are so thankful that we have 2 kids who enjoy school and excel in the things they are given that challenge them.
