Decorating the Christmas tree was a lot different this year as it has years past. For 1, we have 3 kids who understand the fun of decorating...for another none of them have patience to wait their turn or for another. We didn't get many pictures because of both reasons.
We started with a lot on the bottom, because the kids are still small and slowly worked our way up, with help.
As the tree got full Shawn picked the kids up and moved them around the tree to find an empty spot. This they all took turns doing, but giving them the ornaments to put on the tree was hard to keep up with.
We never took a picture of the final turnout, and it's still up, but is lopsided, and turned around. We have 2 trees, one down stairs with all the family ornaments on it with colored lights. The other is our While House Ornament tree with a Red, White and blue theme. It has white lights and those lights glisten and make the tree looked snowed on in the evening hours. Gifts were transferred to that tree this year as Mason decided that it was his job to find out what he was getting for Christmas. I'm not so sure we will put up both trees every year, as it is a lot of work, but for this year, we enjoyed it, even till mid January.
