Christmas Day 2010

We opened our Christmas presents everyone got us at Grandpa and Grandma Clausen's house Christmas morning. We actually got to sleep until 7:30 as our kids took their time waking up.
My Grandma Clausen, the kids Great Grandma, has a friend help he make these little bears for the kids. They are knitted and stuffed. I remember as a child having many things that Grandma knitted for me. These may be more special to me, than they are for my kids as I know Grandma can't see very well and has a very hard time knitting.
Grandma Clausen made aprons for everyone except Mason. He got this really cool Woody and Buzz vest that Grandma lovingly made for him. He loves it, and really likes to wear it to Church.

Paige got a shopping cart full of pretend food that the kids have enjoyed destroying. The plastic food is still good, but the boxes, they were not made to with stand my kids. We will probably rotate them with smaller boxed food items we use in our house.

Mason got 4 Toy Story books for Christmas. All of them are very different, but Mason loves them all. One of his books he got is a Collection of Toy Story stories. He loves this book the most, as it has a lot of pictures, a lot of words, and it just captures his mind.

Paige got Shawn some clamps he was asking for. She was really excited to get them for him also. I have never seen a 2 year old so determined about a gift like she was.

Paige also got a bunch of stuff for her Babies. She got a double stroller from Mason, a homemade crib with blankets from Grandpa and Grandma Clausen and a new baby.

At 11:00 am we went to Grandma and Grandpa Sanders house and had a gift exchange there. We enjoyed watching all the kids open their gifts from the family. It was really crazy.

Emma got a littlest pet shop and Mason got a Magna Doodle Glow from Jason and Jenny. Emma was so excited, and Mason was thrilled.

At 1:00pm we went to Ronda's house for Christmas Dinner. It was really nice to see some extended family from the Kuhn side. We haven't seen several of those family members for a while. We visited most of the rest of the day there. It was a real nice holiday to be with family, next year, we're hoping some of them will come to us.

Alex enjoyed looking at pictures of Emma's Christmas, but he is concerned that she did not get the pillow pet that she told him she wanted. He also wants to know why Emma told him all she got for Christmas was Lipstick that goes on her mouth?

She didn't get the pillow pet...because she got to see her Grandparents and him for christmas ;)
I know she was most excited about the lip stick and that was all she could think about when she saw him. Silly kids. At least he is concerned for her.
