1-2-3 GO!

All her life, Emma has been a bit stubborn. (We know where she gets that from) For a few months we have been trying to get her to have enough confidence to just try to ride her bike with out the training wheels. We have not been so successful. Our neighbors across the street have some kids, and one of them is just younger than Emma. He was out with his dad working on riding his bike on Wednesday. Wednesday night, another neighbor up the street was out with her mom learning to ride her bike. That was enough for Emma to decide that it was her turn to try. She worked at it and worked at it and slowly got enough courage to just do it.
She was so lucky she had Thursday to practice and when Grandma Sanders, Great Grandma Kuhn and Aunt Ronda came to see us, she got to show them what she had been working on. While Grandma Sanders was there taking pictures, she figured out how to stop herself and was so excited about that.

She was so excited to call Grandpa Sanders and tell him that she was riding her bike with out help, since she didn't do it while he was here. He was so excited to hear from her that she was doing it. A few of our neighbors would cheer her on as we tried to get her to do it, Saturday she knocked on a few doors to share with them that she now starts, rides and stops with out help.
