In the Mean time...

Of waiting for the job to come, we ventured out the day after Shawn came home from interviewing for 3 different jobs. We went to LaGrande, Oregon to attend my Mom's family reunion. It was so good to see some Uncle's and Aunt's and a few cousin's I haven't seen in a while, or who have never met our family.

The park the reunion was at had this awesome playground. The pictures don't do this justice. We played there from 8:30 am to 5:30pm and could have stayed longer.

They have this giant xylophone, and behind it there is a xylophone that sits up and down (not slanted like this one) and it has numbers on it. There is a board that has the numbers sketched in the wood to play a few well known kids songs ie: row row row your boat, twinkle twinkle little star. It was a really fun area.
Mason figured out the phone which is on the outside of the music area. The other end of the phone is on the play structure. He and Shawn talked back and forth for a while.
The next few pictures are the Wallowa Mountain range outside of Enterprise, Oregon. The valley there is so beautiful. Shawn was really temped to stop in to the Vet clinic there and ask it they were hiring.

TODAY

Today was the warmest day of the year. We filled the pool up and let the kids play in it. Paige loved getting her sunscreen on. She kept laughing, I am sure it is because she is so ticklish. She was so happy as long as she was standing in the water...but sitting ...that was another story.

Mason and Emma both close their eyes when the go down the side and hit the water. They would love going down a water slide and a theme park if they were big enough.

I pulled out some otter pops to eat and gave Paige a closed one. She liked the cold so much that when we took it back from her she told us what she thought. Mason only ate half of his, so Paige claimed the other. Silly girl. I have a lot of pictures of her this month that I hope to post in a few days. She sure has gown a lot this month. Posted by Picasa

Wow! What a playground. That looks awesome! And the weather looked just right to enjoy it too. Good luck to Shawn on his job hunt.

That playground is awesome! We used to drive through LeGrand all the time, but didn't know of the cool playground. The picture of Paige sitting in the pool is priceless! How funny! I am going to miss you!
