The little things are the BIG things!

For a long while now, we have been working with Emma to use the big girl toilet! She has been pretty successful with the potty in the toilet, but the poop, that has been another story.
This last week she has been working really hard to get her princess panties! We told her that she needed to have no accidents for a whole week! We made a chart, and at the end of every day if she still had on the same panties she put on in the morning, she got to choose a sticker to put on her chart! Today was day 7! I can not even tell you how proud Shawn and I are of her. Today at church, during Testimony meeting she came to me and said " Mom, I have to go poop"! This was a big break through as she dosen't like to poop on the toilet unless she is at her house.
The other big thing she did today, she gave her first scripture in Primary. Being a new sunbeam, you would expect her to clam up and not say anything, and she spoke into the microphone, and read 2 Nephi 4:15. It wasn't a short verse, but it was what they asked her to read to go with this months primary theme. We were so proud of her. We have been reading scriptures every night, 1 verse for every person, and we tell Emma when she dosen't want to read that she needs to practice so when she has to do it in primary it is easy. Today that really showed us how true that is.
