December Snow

The Snow Has come to the Palouse

Snow makes the landscape look so peaceful, tranquil, serene, and untouched, that is until the kids get out and laugh and play like there is no tomorrow! Emma can hardly wait to get out and play when there is snow out to be played in. I don't think that the cold could stop this girl!

Oh Mason, and his slide. It could be covered and he would still find it. Mason, like Emma enjoys the snow. He is my outdoor boy. Shawn was loading all the Christmas decorations in the house, and Mason just couldn't stand to be in the house helping me pull it all out. So we got all dressed up, and headed to the great outdoors. I so wish that I could capture the excitement that runs through his body when he first touches the snow. He does it every time that his bare hand touches the pure white stuff, and the giggle that comes with it sounds like the heavenly baby choir singing! He is so fun to watch when he is excited about something!
Here we are! All done with taking the Christmas decorations in the house, and almost ready to go in to put up the Christmas Tree!! We had some good snowball fights and enjoyed watching it snow ALL DAY LONG! The snowflakes were small, but it lasted all Day! What a great day to put up the Christmas Tree and start off the Christmas Season!
