Friday night Mason and I finally got our date night. We were suppose to go out the Saturday afternoon after Emma's date with her dad. Mason was sick that weekend, so we postponed our date until he felt better. We went to Golden Corral in Orem for dinner. Buffets work so well with our kids. He loved choosing what he was going to eat, and loved (A LOT) the dessert bar. I had a yummy salad and some fish. It was only worth the price of a buffet cause Mason is still free (for 1 more month). We had a good dinner. We then went to this place.
Jump On It is located in Lindon, Utah and a few other locations. It is right off I-15 and I have seen it every time we pass through that area. I looked it up and found out more and knew that Mason would love it. And he did. I have never seen this little boy of mine smile so big. They have to place sectioned out into 3 different areas. The red trampolines are for 4 foot and under (and parents with little ones). The blue area is for everyone else. They even have some trampolines that are slightly slanted off the walls so you can bounce off the wall. So cool. There are a few bounce houses, and a toddler area. All in all, it was a great date place.
I have to tell you, I love spending one on one time with Mason. Maybe it is because I don't get much one on one with him, or maybe because his so cute, handsome and irresistible. I love him. I love his personality, his determination to learn and be understood. He tries so hard. I love that about him. I think that is what made me fall in love with his Dad. It makes me happy to know that he has a bit of what I love so much in his Dad, in him.
I have a request from Emma and Shawn that we come here for a family outing soon. I guess they are sad that they didn't get to go first. It was such a fun night. Mason wore himself tired and was the one that decided it was time to head home. I am sure we will spend some summer days here playing and trying to keep cool as the heat visits Utah again this year.
