One of Shawn's colleague sponsors the rodeo in Eugene and she had some pretty good tickets to the rodeo and offered some to Shawn. The kids were so excited to go and it was really fun.
The clown that works the rodeo has these dogs that do tricks and he had some time during the rodeo to do a show for everyone there. I guess they were on America's Got Talent a few years ago. With 4 kids to keep track of, I didn't get very many pictures.
Carter wore ear plugs and seemed to not be bothered by the noise. He was pretty happy to be outside and having fun.
Can't miss the one with all of us, Carter is in Shawn's arms!
And at the end of the night, Shawn was the successful one at putting Carter to sleep with a noisy crowd and lots of action.
There were fireworks at the end of the night for the 4th of July celebration. We sat on the grass together and watched till they were done and then when we got to the car all the kids got in their jammies and snuggled into their car seats to head home. It was like 10:30, the latest we've been out since having Carter.
