I am sure that the kids ate more candy while we did this that I let them eat in a month. Mason only had interest as long as he got to eat the candy, but he didn't last too long. Emma held out the hole time and really enjoyed "glueing" the candies on the house. Shawn and I had fun also. We make our own gingerbread, cut out our own pattern, and really thought that it was well worth it.
