Our plan was to leave the house Sunday morning and drive to Nampa. We ended up going to the hardware store and getting new plumbing pipes for under the sink. Everything Shawn tried didn't fix the constant drip, and the hot water hose was leaking. It wasn't very long after we got the new parts that the leak was taken care of and the rest of the kitchen started to be put back together.
Word of advise: when you are using the glue that you should use to glue the pipes together, do it in a well ventilated area. That stuff stinks. Also, don't spill it. Shawn now has some jeans that look like they have been bleached and they have a weird film layer on the outside of it.
This man amazes me. Every problem that came up, he had a solution to a way around it or a way to fix it. He is so talented in many ways. Although this was a project we worked on together, he did A LOT of the major work. He stayed up late nights and kept on going. Shawn had an ICU shift Sunday 12am to 8am. He didn't get any sleep before he left the house. He said he was able to sleep for about 2 hours at the hospital on a foal bed. When he got home, he went back to work trying to figure out how to fix the leaks. I don't know how he functioned all day. We finally went to bed at 1:30 am Monday morning. Plan is: wake up 5:30 am. Get all the final stuff in the van for Nampa, and leave as soon as possible.
