A Sunday visit to the Hospital
This last week there was an orphaned baby camel that was being treated at the Hospital.
Shawn was so nice to invite us to go to the school and see this fun animal (which we are sure we will not see again). There are signs up all over the area where the camel is that if you go and see the camel, you are subject to Shock Therapy. This is due to the horrible noise that this little one makes when it has to say good bye to it's visitors.
We were lucky to come and see it at feeding time.
Right after this picture was taken, Shawn went up to the student who took it for us, and the camel ran up to him (hoping to find some food) and knocked the camera out of his hand, in the air and as it came down, the camel kicked the poor thing. Needless to say, it doesn't work anymore. So during spring break we didn't have a camera and this is one of the reasons we haven't posted any new pictures. We now have a new family camera. We look forward to learning all about it and posting new pictures more often. Also, Monday we are finally moving on to higher speed for Internet, NO MORE DIAL UP! It is about time that we found some one who offers this service at a price we can pay!
