Christmas Morning was so fun and relaxing at our house. Emma woke up around 6:30 and came into our room. She climbed into bed with us, and we asked her if Santa came to see her. She disappointingly said "No, I didn't hear him". She made us laugh. We asked her if she had checked her stocking to see if it had any thing in it and again, she was so disappointed to say "NO". We told her to run to the living room and check. We followed her out to the living room where she got so excited to see that her stocking was filled, and the plate she left cookies on was empty. She looked at us and said "Santa came to my house. Look at all this stuff." Then she turned to the Christmas Tree and said "Oh My gosh! Presents...lots of presents!" It was so fun to watch her this year, as it was so different as years past.
Mason didn't wake up until later, much later. It took him a while to get the idea of pulling stuff out of his stocking, but when he did he really enjoyed it. He got Lightening McQueen and Red from CARS, and carried them around all Day long. He took them to bed with him, but when it was apparent that he want not going to sleep. we placed them on the toy shelf's. He cried hard, he could hardly catch his breath, but once settled down, he slept soundly.
